In the aftermath of devastating floods in Central Texas that claimed more than 100 lives, Ford Motor Company, alongside its dealers and employees, has launched a $1.25 million relief effort. The package includes direct donations to local aid groups, deployment of employees and dealers to assist with recovery, and the provision of loaner vehicles through partnerships with non-profits like Team Rubicon
Additionally, Ford Credit has introduced up to 60-day payment deferrals for customers in FEMA-designated flood zones. This initiative is part of a wider automotive industry response, with Toyota contributing over $600K and GM supporting the Red Cross with vehicles and activating OnStar Crisis Mode
. As recovery operations continue, Ford’s efforts aim to offer both immediate aid and long-term support to flood-ravaged communities.
