Daniel Jongyon Park, a 32-year-old man charged with aiding the suspect behind the Palm Springs fertility clinic bombing, has died in federal custody. Park was accused of supplying over 270 pounds of ammonium nitrate to Guy Edward Bartkus, who died in a car bomb attack on the American Reproductive Centers on May 17, 2025. Park was extradited from Poland and held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles, where he was found unresponsive in his cell on June 24. Authorities are investigating the death, suspected to be a suicide, while continuing to explore ties to extremist anti-natalist ideologies that may have motivated the attack.
