Authorities have identified the four individuals killed in the August 1 shooting at The Owl Bar in Anaconda, Montana, as Nancy Lauretta Kelley (64), the bartender, and patrons Daniel Edwin Baillie (59), David Allen Leach (70), and Tony Wayne Palm (74) All were longtime Anaconda residents. The prime suspect is 45‑year‑old Michael Paul Brown, a former U.S. Army and National Guard member who lived next door to the bar and was known locally. Law enforcement describes him as “unstable, armed and extremely dangerous” and remains at large—having fled in a stolen vehicle loaded with camping gear and possibly now clothed. A multi‑agency manhunt continues in the rugged mountains west of town. Residents have been urged to stay alert as a $7,500 reward is being offered for information leading to his capture
