In a tragic incident in North Cedrous Township, York County, Pennsylvania, three law enforcement officers were fatally shot and two others critically wounded on Wednesday, during what authorities describe as a domestic‑related investigation.

The wounded officers were transported to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition. The suspect in the shooting was also killed by police during the confrontation.

Officials have said the officers may have been serving a search warrant connected to the domestic‑related case that prompted the investigation. Governor Josh Shapiro described the day as “absolutely tragic and devastating” for York County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
